A Narrative of Visual Novel Development with Ren’Py

Basic details

  • Project type: Literacy Narrative
  • Published: September 13, 2018
  • Medium: Website article

Why write this piece?

I noticed that a lot of literacy narratives talk about a person learning how to read or write in the traditional sense. However, reading and writing, including the learning process, may be a bit too similar for a lot of people, especially if it’s accessible. So, as an attempt to prove that literacy narratives don’t just apply to the foundational level, I wrote my experiences in visual novel development as a literacy narrative.
